Cumbria Way Food Order Form

We are delighted to be working with Cumbrian Way Foods to offer our guests delicious, wholesome and good qulaity meals to heat up in their cottage.

 

All dishes are cooked by a qualified chef in the kitchen of a converted barn next to the Cumbrian Way footpath. The ingredients are fresh and sourced as locally as possible. Through this we support local farmers and food producers, and we are sure that you will enjoy the result.

 

The meals are delivered frozen to your cottage prior to arrival, and can be used any time during your stay. We do keep a limited stock but request that your order in advance to ensure availability.

 

Main courses are all sold in individual portions, side dishes and puddings are sold in portions for two people.

Lancashire Pork in Cider Pork diced and gently braised in sweet cider with wholgrain mustard, carrots and baby onions. £5.00
Mixed Vegetable and Bean Casserole (V) The best and freshest vegetables the North West can produceare roasted Medditeranean style with mixed beans and lentils, then cooked in a rich tomato sauce. £4.00
Braised Local Lamb Shoulder Tender pieces of Cumbrian fell lamb slowly braised in red wine with rosemary, onions and root vegetables from the region. £5.50
Venison with Red Wine Sauce Tender local venison slow cooked in a rich red wine gravy with plums, carrots, red onions and pancetta £6.00
Casserole of Pheasant Pheasant gently cooked in a natural gravy with smoked bacon and ham, chestnuts, port and thyme. £6.00
